Meridian Polar
Meridian Polar is a Norwegian programme developing a sailing research vessel built to work in heavy ice in both polar regions.
It follows the routes of Amundsen's Gjøa, Fram and Maud and carries on the science that Harald Sverdrup began aboard Maud.
The goal is open polar data from places and seasons that are rarely measured today.
